According to the 2019 Dengue Report there are 167,607 dengue cases, including 720 deaths, reported from 1 January to 27 July 2019: 97% higher than in 2018, in spite of a delayed rainy season. This is a clear indicator of the alarming situation we are facing right now in the Philippines. Except from my personal experience of being diagnosed positive by dengue, I want to raise awareness on what are the early signs because a lot of people don’t know it and dengue is only treatable by fighting back and strengthening your immune system. I hope that this could reach people and that they would beware of the bite. For more information and tips you could visit http://www.doh.gov.ph. Stay safe everone!
